Productivity Summit is Ray Sidney-Smith‘s brainchild, contemplated almost five years ago, when Ray thought it would be really great to bring together all the personal productivity enthusiasts he knew with all the productivity experts he had come to know in the industry. After many iterations and finally realizing the technology could make it happen, this virtual summit is what has come of that idea.
Productivity Summit is a two-day, four-track virtual summit about personal productivity, organization, technology and business development. Unlike other virtual summits that are pre-recorded presentations released on a schedule, this is a remote conference with over 40 expert speakers presenting in real-time. It’s primarily catering to professionals and executives interested in becoming more productive, organized and technologically capable in their productive lives. The conference runs Friday and Saturday, October 4 and 5, 2019 from 9am to 5pm US Eastern (plus 5pm to 6pm US Eastern for after-conference, optional networking/social virtual events). Video replays of all the recorded sessions will be available through Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 4:59 PM US Eastern, so those unable to attend can still enjoy the summit; we have a Premium Ticket available for those who want to get lifetime access to video/audio replays.
What to Expect
Productivity Summit has four tracks:
- Productivity – how to be more productive using principles, strategies and techniques.
- Technology – what and how to use specific technologies to get things done.
- Organization – how to get your home or office more organized, and dealing with clutter and disorganization.
- Business Development – for those looking to build or grow their businesses more effectively and efficiently.
Productivity Summit is free to attend live, and it’s all accessible through your Web browser.
We have a panel discussion moderated by Ray Sidney-Smith, entitled, “The Future of Productivity Technology,” with productivity technology experts from leading companies in the industry on Friday, October 4, 2019. Our technology panelists include Ted Roden (Fancy Hands), Troy Christmas (TaskClone), Michael Sliwinski (Nozbe), Christina Willner (Amazing Marvin), and Andrew Malcolm (Evernote).
Then, on Saturday, October 5, 2019, Demir Bentley, of Lifehack Bootcamp and Lifehack Tribe, will be keynoting the Summit with his presentation, “The Biggest Cover Up In Productivity History.”
We have a Digital Interactives Room where speakers will be placing learning quizzes, polls and more to engage with what you learn at the Summit.
Next up, we have the Exhibit Hall. We want Productivity Summit to be a virtual representation of the experience attending a live, in-person summit…and nothing says conference like the vendor trade show! We will be giving away raffle prizes to attendees who visit our exhibitors’ virtual booths. Our top prize is bundled giveaway of up to 10 different ebooks/audiobooks, productivity software licenses and digital downloads, and then we’ll have plenty of other individual giveaways. Each attendee who enters a virtual exhibit booth will get an entry into the drawing at the end of each day, which leads us to the virtual networking events.
Finally, at the close of each summit day, we are hosting the Mega Productivity Networking Event, an opportunity for attendees to engage with each other in live, small-group networking sessions and provide testimonials about what they learned in that day’s summit sessions. This is also the time we’ll be giving away the prizes for checking out the exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall. It’s a virtuous cycle of engagement and value.
